The Neighbourhood Manifesto is a reader-supported publication started by Victor Majirani. It began as a simple question — what makes a place a home? — and grew into twelve episodes, a growing collective, and a quiet conviction that the street is worth fighting for.
How it works
Open and anonymous
Anyone can read, and anyone can sign. There is no account, no sign-in, no gate. The manifesto belongs to whoever shows up.
Voluntary support
The publication is supported by readers who choose to give, from as little as KSh 10. It is not a purchase — there is nothing to buy. It is a way of saying the work should continue.
